Privacy policy – Kurs

This policy explains what information the Kurs driver app collects, why, and how it is stored.

What we collect

• Account: your email address and password (the password is stored only in encrypted form).
• Profile: first name, last name and phone number.
• Work records: vehicle reservations, trips (platform, start and end time, kilometres driven).
• Location: while a trip is running, the app uses your phone's location to measure the distance driven. Location is not tracked outside of an active trip.
• Photos: pictures of documents and receipts that you choose to send, plus details you enter (for example amount, vendor, date).

Why we collect it

Only to run the fleet's daily operations: assigning vehicles, settling trips and expenses, and keeping required driver documents. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

• Account and work records are stored in a Supabase database.
• Photos are uploaded to a folder in the fleet operator's Google Drive.

Google user data

Kurs asks the fleet operator for access to Google Drive with the limited drive.file permission. This lets the app create and upload files only into the folder it created itself; it cannot see or change any other files in that Google Drive. Drivers never sign in to Google through the app.

Kurs's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Sharing

Your information is visible only to the fleet operator and its authorised staff. It is not shared with other third parties, except where required by law.

Keeping and deleting data

Data is kept while you work with the fleet and as long as accounting or legal rules require. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing the address below.
